You can adjust it to be less responsive to your tablet’s pen pressure (Soft) or more responsive, meaning you’ll have to press the pen more but can also get more taper from your brushes (Hard) From *File>Brush Environment Setting" adjust the global pressure sensitivity of all brushes. You can try if some of these work at different settings. Firealpaca included “Bitmap brush textures” some updates ago. However, I remember that a bit part was the textures that could be applied to them and the way the brushes felt.
